to let the fires flames
wrap around me like wings.
to let all the different names
become less than nothing.
to let my smile fade
as my heart burns away.
to let my body temp accelerate
even more each day.
to let all i've ever known
die into ashes around me.
to let fear be shown
because i'm next possibly.
to let these wings of flames close in
and squeeze me tight.
until i'm burning in my skin
melting away as i say goodnight.
to let go of life itself
charred to the core.
when nothing else
seems worth living for.
to let myself die
and forget the pain i've recieved.
i promise not to cry
because soon i'll be your memory...
