To Mother Earth Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

To Mother Earth

The warming of the sun,
A loving summer with hard work!
To greet you in the name of love;
Folklore, mythology and symbols.

To mother earth,
To the underworld,
With a rule over us!
But, the passion lamb is slaughtered today.

To honour!
To dispise,
With the ways of nature around us today;
But, the heat came from the warming of the sun.

Folklore, mythology and symbols. The earth is prepared to embrace the summer, with its warmth and land toil. A beautiful pastoral poem!
