To You With Love Poem by Leslie Alexis

To You With Love

Rating: 5.0

These are not angry words
but there are words of love
As in,
'For God so love,
The world that he gave his ONLY begotten son,
That whosoever believe in him,
would not perish but have everlasting life.'
Life... Life... life~!
Life as in the absence of sin,
For when Adam sinned we all died,
But Christ came and gave life, everlastingly.
Everlasting life,
not life in the human breath,
for until we accept Christ we do not live,
we're walking dead!
Walking dead... walking.. dead
For none, yea not one can appreciate the creation
least they accept the creator,
and all acts least they be for him will cease,
cease, cease, cease!
Tell me, of all the pleasure on earth, which last for more than the moment?
Money, it ends.
Sex, it ends.
Heaven and earth shall pass away.
away... away... away
But the word shall stay.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
Understand it, in the beginning was God
and there will always be God.
God the father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost.
Creator
Redeemer
Keeper
God,
Take it or refuse it;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
I love you, so I tell it.
Father, mother, sister, brother, they all would pass away,
is this it?
For it is appointed onto man 70 year to live and then to die.
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.
“Live in Christ, live in Christ, and the flesh need not fear death.”
ah... I will not die.
Philippians 1: 21-23
21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell.23 For[a] I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

Great poem Leslie. 'for until we accept Christ we do not live, we're walking dead! ' how true, how true. And far too many people made, and make the mistake of apparently accepting Christ but not truly willing to make Him the Lord of their lives. I myself, for one. It is something every 'Christian' should avoid like the plague, because it's a constant threat. Don't you never forget that Leslie... -Cheng Zheng
