After a long day
I stole away
To my Grandfather's farm
I seek refuge from the stress
A simple step and I am free
To be myself, to be me
Th autumn colors flood around me
bathing and cleansing with their light
Soon to be dusk
I will be gazing at the stars
Breathe in the scent of fresh apple pie
As the horses frolic to and fro in the pastures
Feeling at home
I take my time
The trees hold the path open to me
and guide and show me the way
I see it now the country ranch
A guarantee of hugs and care
I pick up my pace, I'm almost there
I now see him waiting
With a smile as bright as the Sun
and arms open just for me
funny the part life take us. wonderful... i had to comment again
it is our day, isnt it! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! is it :)
