Today Is Sunday Poem by Hebert Logerie

Today Is Sunday

Rating: 5.0

Today is Sunday
I'm going to send you white roses
And a slew of pretty poems
To prove to you that I love you.

A volcano has erupted in my heart
Lava and tears that are sprinkled with love
Have covered my body like velvet
Which can dazzle you with intense heat.

As you know, when we are in love
Words have different nuances
In life, we have to dig our luck.

Darling, it's not an error
Love is like a chilly wind
That, at times, sows days of joy.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I read all three versions of this exceptionally enchanting poem written in Italian, Spanish and English. But I have a big problem, don't know which one I like better. It is amazing how different languages can change the sentiments produced by the same words. In all 3 versions this poem is one of the most precious love poems I have read in a long time.
