Tomorrow
My soul stood up today and said:
Your heart is full of sorrow.
I know, I said,
Joy left me yesterday and said
She will be back tomorrow.
great wisdom in few words. Those happy all the time are said to be 'elated'. That is one of two cycles of manic /depression. I suspect that most people experience bi-polar phases in their lives. Sometimes they are emersed in joy and at other times they are drowning in misery. Those most content I suspect are floating through life knowing one feeling from the other.
