Torch Bearers Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Torch Bearers

Rating: 5.0

Are we not the torch bearers,
that uphold light in darkness,
that carry flames that burn,
from flickering time immortal,

we painted paintings upon cave walls
shaped sacred imaged life living,
upon three dimensional rock walls
within earth womb where life originates,

charcoal lines ochre invigorates life
dancing to light of ephemeral flames,
harmonics encaved resonant vibrations
tame visions within soul of earth mother,

power of our overlapping pictures imagery
flows throughout time throughout eternity,
symbolic outlines graphics images colours
pigment pipe airbrush blown across canvas,

interchanging interacting coupling bodies
permeate all aspects through porous time,
torched bodies dance, inspired ephemeral dances,
blazing torch light, burning mind to descent mind...

holder of spirits redeemable
throughout transcending ages,
holder of spirits entranced
attaining transcendental consciousness...
