Touching Souls In A Smile Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Touching Souls In A Smile

Hesitant looks coming from elderly people at times, not quite
sure why, but smiling at them brings a smile in return, their
eyes then light up to match their smiles.

A recognition of love and caring being reflected in a smile
touches their heart and gives a sense of belonging and love,
a great way to help others by touching their souls.

Just a smile means everything in the world to an elderly
person, especially when they're lonely and widowed, graces
flow abundantly over both as smiles meet.
