Trainwreck Poem by Fae Sebastian

My body is pale
And I think I need to get some sun
There are bruise-like marks beneath my eyes
And I think I need to get some sleep
My bones stick out in disgusting ways
And I think I need to get some food
My hair is limp and dirty
And I think I need to get a bath
I see people walking past me
Not even sparing a second glance
But I understand…
All they see when they look at me
Is a skinny kid and needle tracks
All they see…
Is someone they can’t afford to get involved with
All they see…
Is another trainwreck
