Trapped in this body
My soul has forgone
For some place as peaceful as the dawn.
Aware of where it dwells,
I fear I cannot go
Because my Feet hesitate to follow.
Why they digress,
I have no way to know.
All I perceive is the heavy weight of my chest,
Nearly crushing my heart.
Every day it caves
Until my heart bellows “Hurry, Follow your soul to the grave”.
