Treasures Poem by Elizabeth Lindberg

Treasures

Rating: 5.0

I'm saving my treasures for one,
the laughter, the sweetness, the fun,
I'll gift him my time, my heart and my mind,
and love like the kiss of the sun,
I'm saving my pearls for my lover,
gifts of delight he'll discover,
my vixenous wiles, and sensual smiles,
the treasures not given another,
I'm saving my songs for his ears
the shimmering jewels in my tears
tho he'll not make me cry,
I'll give him my sighs,
and my trust when he holds me near,
I'm saving forgiveness my way,
redeemable on any day,
the faults of my man,
I'll write in the sand,
and let the wind blow them away,

Im saving my treasures for one,
the laughter, the sweetness, the fun,
I'll gift him my time, my heart and my mind,
and love like the kiss of the sun
