Trees, Centuries Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Trees, Centuries

tress
that cut centuries
ago
still
on sight
inspires
love
even
in
iron hearts
what tale
behind you
and why
you were cut
when
the body that made you
in dust
fine
as ground
dwindles
dwindles
with a few bones
dwindles
