Trip Poem by Umeet Vaswani

Trip

Rating: 3.5

Oily sand at the lip of a shore
Flashing memories but with closed heaven's door
A soul whose body was masked as hominal
Large waves in naval byoyanced the mortal
Sleepless fauna chirping away from the coast
Cutting sun in instances, thus covering the face of host
Feeling of deceit incensed his core
From the taunting of the sky and even mucked moronic shore
He thus rose his trunk, rose to a disdainful path
Flashes still hovering, upsetting his mind aghast
Dripping water and blood dragged his body to ground
As a magnet that poles the pieces around
The earth stood still so did winging fauna
With rim filled amber in God's divine manna
God said ' Thou art a psyche of atheist and melancholy
Beguiled ain't I, for thy work is unholy
Unsolicit art thou creating hostile lucent
For thou hast made nirvana unpleasant!
No love within you Oh! untamed rapacious
For you ain't the one to enter the sacred pillar
Until that dawn when the lament has urged
Thou art captivated in this body servitude
For thou need to larn the peace of soul
No smite or thaumaturgy of theban thee hold
Learn to love or remain a hole '
' For what should I do in this forsaken place
Should I die to end the loop of life?
Hatred in me shan't even then die along!
What should I do Oh! almighty smiter '
With a grin insulting the creator, he laid
But with a love in eyes, to the mortal, God said
' My child! , For once I say love, you say detest
I hope thee find the one thy love
For then shall I end that creature's life
And ask you how it feels to live so dead '
Arose again the world from deep sleep
Birds still in the air started flying sweep
He fell down again on the road so cold
Half burried by sands on the shore that grew old
Days went by so did clouds, wind and earth
Leaves that pleasanted trees, also eclipsed to dearth
He opened his eyes and found a golden wall
Bruises and cuts on him that were covered from gall
' Sleep Oh! warrior, for your blood would ooze '
Came the voice from the distance in loose
He agnized was in a castle filled with rare stones
The voice came near to syrup his bones
' Sleep Oh! warrior sleep at once I say
For my sheets would be ruined, torned if may '
She laughed at this, laughter turned in small smile
Only to realise the visitor hadn't laughed in a while
The wrath in the eyes indelible sign on the chest
She jumped tiptoe away feeling slay in lest
A war then broke in pleasant narnian land
No care to cut or kill an opponent with hand
Knights and rooks were large armed and bidden
Queen was in a den and hero Armidden
Days turned in weeks and wood logs were offing full
Cold started to crept and blood froze to pull
There was no way then to share the heat
Thus shedding clothes Armidden hugged queen in a beat
Time flew by and villages turned ashes
No sign of a being or birds or animal bashes
Hard times turned them to dust
Unconscience were they Armidden and widowed of king Albust
Then little smile chisseled down his cheek
Coz Now he had fallen for the queen of Greek
Many stars twined as clouds grew thin
Thus love improved and God laughed and grinned
A sudden thunder and day clouds turned dark
Arrived God with a lightening spark
He took Armidden, too unsuspected
Queen died for love as God expected
Now God returned him to the narnian alone
How could he now realive her clone
Now he wanted cuts and bruises but couldn't get
Death was a sole friend, to reunite beget
Sword couldn't cut him and poison he peed out
When he couldn't do anything he cried aloud
Before I realised I screamed with a screach
Coz that was me dreaming asleep on a beach
Tiwas 1540 hours and tide was low
Goa trip had ended and bus had to go
