As life floats on trough and crests
Dancing precariously on the waves of breath
I am pulled by antipodal quests
One of earthly and other of heavenly conquest.
Thus, at times, I turn my back to greed and lust
On sighting the hallowed island of faith and trust
But then I am blown away like a speck of dust
In the worldly turbulence of the earth crust.
