True Life Is After-Life With God Poem by Dr John Celes

God made us human beings, out of love;
He made us in His image specially;
He wants our souls pure, back to Him above
In after-life with Him, eternally.

Our life on earth is just a passing phase;
We are children of God, our Father One;
The evil one keeps us in earthly maze;
We ought to keep the tempter on the run!

Though made from clay, we don't belong to earth;
God breathed His life into each vessel made;
Each pot must serve its purpose for His mirth;
By death, no soul in after-life can fade!

But we must keep the Liar from our way;
We are children of God that live in light;
We ought to keep devils always at bay;
By fervent prayers, we can win our fight.

O loving God, we thank You for this birth!
We long to be with You in heaven soon;
Forgive our sins and make us pure and worth;
Help us to make our earthly stay, a boon!
