True Love Poem by Dan Lundahl

True Love

I'm jealous to the bone,
I can't let you go out with the guys,
It's a stupid feeling I can't get rid of,
But honey, that's what's causing my cries.

I'm stupid to the bone,
I don't know as much as you might believe,
Never listened much in school,
But honey, that's what's causing my grieve.

I'm mean to the bone,
I lie to you and tell you stuff that isn't true,
I hurt you without intention,
But honey, that's what's causing my issue.

I'm scared to the bone,
I'll be miserable without you, I need you, don't want to lose you,
I know I'm not worthy, I know I'm not perfect,
I know I've had my chance, but I need a second one, 'cause the first one I blew.

For all of the flaws in my world,
For all of the errors in my life,
For every mistake that I've commit,
Would you still be my wife?
