True Love Poem by kennika jones

I used to say that true love was hard to find, but now that I love myself I realize that it has to come to you. All the hurt and the pain will melt away if you just stop searching and let true love come your way. I used to say there was no such thing as true love but around me a lot of people prove me wrong. They say love is always true but only if the person you love is true to you. I used to say that all relationships are bound to go wrong. They said that no relationship is perfect and that I will have my rocky roads, and these are the times that true love will show. I say that sometimes I just want to give up on love. They it is easy to just give up when times get ruff, but if you stick with it true love will take it’s route and you will work everything out. Now that I am wiser when it comes to love I can wait for it no matter how long it takes, because I know that true love will some day come my way.
