First love excites you, opens your heart
You float like a cotton seed out of the pod
With no knowledge of any destination
Nor any assurance.
It jerks, it shakes and then throws you out
Very spontaneous but mindless it is
What generally wears out.
It sweeps you off your feet
Like getting kicks after taking shots.
First love takes your breath away
And drives you insane.
It excites, gives kick
But usually it holds no grain.
Its very temporary, directionless
What fades mostly in vain.


True love finds your best friend
Sharing your pains with compassion
Guides you to smile with content
It gives you eternal joy.
True love inspires you
Compelling you to do the best
True love loves you wholly and so honestly
It may not be perfect but very right in true sense.
No storm or rough water can destroy this
True love is honest it comforts
And shows the path towards eternity.
True love is so pure and persistent
That it is cemented for ever with peace! !
