Two Amazing Eyes
Those amazing wide eyes of yours
So serene and so nice
Like two glittering stars
Amongst millions in the sky.
They are so cool and soothing
Like full moon in the vast blue sky.
Whenever, I stare at them
They beckon me and show me
The essence of living this life.
Those eyes are so tranquil and innocent
Like sparkling dew in morning grass blades.
Whenever you call me with your endearing gaze
I find myself lost in their oceanic depth.
So mesmerizing are those pair of eyes
Speaking of love, so sympathetic and divine
There I find a Spring time for ever
Full of fun and grace!
When you smile at me
with those wide open eyes
I can find my heaven in them.
They fill me with ambiance and thrill
Making me eternally content.
I feel a white dove is flying around us
Weaving a love nest along with you.
I hate to blink for a moment even
And thus missing you for that spell! !
Mesmerizing, hypnotizing
And so capitalizing are those eyes-
They are two eyes of yours
Who won me and made my days.

SYNECDOCHE - that's the technical poetic term for an image in which a part stands for the whole. I love that word, and the concept behind it. For example, I could say, Those two brothers are so opposite: Rufus is all heart, helping everyone he meets but Lionel is just a billfold who wants all your money! Or to be poetic, I could do as you do, cite a lovely woman's eyes which keep us enthralled and promise the most wonderful happiness to the one she favors with her gaze. I am a believer in the woman you celebrate; she must have a lovely heart to match those lovely eyes. That makes her beautiful both inside and outside.
