Unpacked Poem by Lore Me34

Unpacked

Rating: 5.0

I've been carrying this old satchel around for years.I filled it with all my worries, burden and fears. But today at this place on my life's road I decided to unpack this old satchel so I can move on.I'm taking out that worry of will I ever be accepted because I have a disability and will true love ever find me.I am also leaving behind the burden of trying to be everyone hero and also leaving behind the burden of always trying to come across as the happy Negro. Finally I am unpacking my fear of whether or not I am leaving footprints in the sand.I decided to leave that in God's hands.Well I'm move down the road and I am not looking back. I am headed toward a new future because my old satchel is unpacked.

The best thing is to be you, true people will except you for you, people who don't are not worth knowing. Always remember what other people think does not matter it's what you think what counts. A great write.
