Unsubstantiated Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unsubstantiated

Unsubstantiated.
And nowhere revealed to be found.
Is evidence of truth or the proof of it.
Yet...
Declared by unsolicited opinion givers,
Their opinionated version...
Should be obvious enough,
To accept as truth.
And anything else submitted,
That validates the truth to be what it is?
Should be disregarded as speculation.
Presented to undermine,
Unsolicited opinion givers.
Who are trustworthy, honest.
And picked patriotic citizens.
Loyal, dependable and prepared...
To pledge their allegiance to deception.
Whenever the right amount of money,
Becomes involved.
Blinding their conciousness.
And an obvious state of mind...
Conveniently lost when paid to do it.
