I could try and try
but I would never succeed
In giving you what it is that you need

All of my strength could not break down your brick wall
Perhaps numb the pain,
cushion the fall

But if your heart is painting the truth
then follow the bloody path
I live for the day we could look back and laugh

At the moment it's raw
I do not reach your standard

Not like she does
I am frank, I am candid
