Vagrant Poetry Poem by Wojja Fink

Vagrant Poetry

Rating: 5.0

A vagrant and mischievous poetry
Living wild on the streets
Coughs and splutters
Trying to understand the actions
Of men with guns, lost in the madness
Of so many dead bodies
How are we to comprehend this
And teach our children how to behave.

I can hear you already lining up
With your answers printed with some one’s opinions
That swim on the surface of the mind
With a me that believes them
And all your me’s stand in line
Telling other me's the answers
And all you professors stand in line
With your PhD’s Bsc’s and forget me knot’s
And tell the world what the problem is
And the collective arrangement of mental experts
Stand there too, with their
Professional answers and airs that masquerade as perfection
Oh you masks of authority who believe in
Your own self selected intellectual ignorance
Of the heart
Why are children dying?
And men with guns running amok
While the earth groans in utter desperation

Above the earth the stars parade in perfect symmetry
The planets cluster in their fixed orbits
And peace is upon the earth
But not in the mind of man
Only stillness can bring any answers
When the mind of man is dissolved
Ignorance is seen for what it is..

Your poem is full of truth - sad though it is. If ony man could be loving and hopeful and full of compassion. Thanks for your honesty. A '10! ' from me. Best Wishes, Marilyn
