Vantage Point Poem by Eric Cockrell

Vantage Point

Rating: 5.0

the leaf speaks to the tree,
'i am tree', pounding its chest!
the tree whispers with a smile,
'but my son i am leaf! '...
the ground beneath trembles with laughter,
'yes, and i am sky! '
then the wind comes,
and with a mighty rush,
blows them all away!

three voices rhyming in distant echoes...
'we are wind! '
