Vida Is Life

I was thrown off a horse awhile ago.
I was badly hurt and nearly died.
I grieved for the wounds I received.
For a very long time I didn't ride.

I was given a mare called Vida
This mare wasn't broken yet.
I had to get up out of myself.
Vida is life, & as good as it gets.
