Violin Poem by Rose Marie Cook

Violin

Wooden gold
Strings of silk
Tight in tune
As music sings out

The bow
It's love
Touches softly
All the right spots

A stroke across
Fingers touch down
Notes vibrate
Making a sweet sound

The riviting pitch
Carrying on the wind
The loving touch
A magical tune

The smooth wood
Strong string
The collective sounds
Of the violin
