Visions
Why is it that a vision
Seen during daylight hours
Should seize the mind so much
That at night prevents the sleep
The body craves so much
And even if sleep should come
Aye to sleep, perchance to dream
It is better by far to be awake
It is Loki cursed throughout
For vision becomes dream, becomes nightmare
Nightmare becomes daymare
For the mind forgets not
That which troubled it yesterday
And will trouble it still tomorrow
What is worse is the knowing
That there is nothing one can do
To ease the situation, by improving the vision
