Poetry
Sit back, relax, let your mind go free
Chasing down the paths of poetry
Tumble thoughts around in your head
Wonder whether to use this word or that
Rhyme and reason do not matter
It's rhythm that counts, but above all
Is being able to convey unto others
The pictures that you're seeing behind closed eyes

I love the idea of 'conveying to others what we see behind closed eyes.' That is such a great idea!
beautiful poem about poetry.you have defined the undefinable term poetry.nice poem
exactly!
just let it come out from your mind!
and yes among them some cosmic scenes like being planets and stars a few million years from now.
Rhym is not all important but rhythum is. To me if it aint got rhythum
it aint poetry. But then I`m an old man set in my beliefs
I like the way you convey this write... very nice Marilyn, a 10!
