Void Within
If I had never felt the presence of thy love my lord in this life
Then me must not forget with all my eagerness this void within.
If I feel all the elation and ecstasy, my house is filled with wealth and riches
Then me must not forget that your alter is empty within.
If I enjoy the rhymes and rhythms of life and decor my dreams
Then me must not forget that I lack your blessings within.
If any in my weakest moment, I take rest being filled and fulfilled
Then me must not forget that my journey did not begin within.
