Voodoo Being Blamed For Killer Hurricane Dorian Poem by Hebert Logerie

Voodoo is blamed for the deadly Hurricane Dorian
Which devastated the small island of Bahamas.
This is the silliest rumor I have ever heard.
This is the most preposterous nonsense that
Only a brainless zombie or a modern mummy
Would utter under the influence of Russian gunja.
There is a pastor of a big church who needs serious
Help, and a woman with shark teeth and a monkey brain.

It is unthinkable to blame poor Haitian immigrants
Living under precarious and dire conditions in Bahamas
For the destruction or the ravage caused by Killer Dorian.
Some crazy hate mongers have threaten peaceful Haitians
With violence or even execution, we want the authorities
To press charges, seek conviction and penalize any criminals
To the fullest extent of the laws if any of our innocent brothers
Or sisters are hurt. Bahamians and Haitians are siblings. Period.

In this mess, where are the fraudulently elected Haitian officials?
They want to govern; however, they lack proper education and wit
Yet they're all are dying to become president of a nation, which
Has been extremely poorly managed for the last hundred years.
Ignorance rules in our strange and unusual world. No country
Can survive when so many delinquent thieves are in power, when
So many bandits and kidnappers are spreading terror and death.

Voodoo is blamed for the heartless Hurricane Dorian
Which ravaged the small island of Bahamas.
Please do not laugh, because too many people
Are hurting and suffering. Peace and love are the catholicons.
