Countless strangers keep on moving ahead
To reach, but no permission granted
Like waves in the ocean floor
To kiss the shore
The dream of spring
Has a timeless promise
Of fragrant blossoms
And chirping crickets
Dawn’s Silver rays
Opens new beginnings
Colours of youth roam away
Leaving shades of silver and grey
Extinguished fires disposing ashes
The current remains …as forgotten rainbows
But in the silence, I am still waiting for you.
