I am waiting for someone for me
I stand alone leaning on this tree
Watching life go by, I’m not getting any younger
Time seems to fly by and here I am standing still
Friends sharing love and laughter,
I so want their for ever after
I own my insecurities I try find own my destiny
I know there is so much more then before
And there is still the best of me
I hope and in time I find what’s mine
My heart is open now and clean of the past
I now look up to the sky and with a heartbeat fast
I pray for the love of my life to come to me
l find myself with open arms but with a smile
I will give it a while and some more time
To find what’s good and what is truly mine
I will wait for you.
