Waiting For You! Poem by Long Tooth

This is Truth in my life: I am waiting for you!
I'll be here when you need me (though you think we're through) .

I'll rejoice in your presence (should absence be years)
and partake of the sorrows, be there through all fears
you take comfort in sharing. When words aren't a balm
or a respite from cold, a hand's warmth is enough
when life's wisdom gets told, to restore inner calm,
drive most demon's away! But if not, let two weigh
what might be an advantage, and day, then admit
what the night might conceal! Is God real? Is death fluff?
Is death door we go through? Our death's chance to commit
to ‘God's will' in God's Will, to meet LOVE face to face?
May raised ships, then set sail in the breath of God's Grace!

This man waits here for you all the days of his life,
but Christ's bridegroom who lives to take church for His Wife!
