Walking Down Disaster's Aisle? Poem by Sandra Feldman

Walking Down Disaster's Aisle?

Rating: 5.0

Wound up
And Ready!
Their Joe
Marches on
Going down
The aisle,
Like a court jester
Like a Yeti,
A figure of danger
Yet a clown!

Fooling only
The mentally blind
And those to disaster
Bound,
While brainwashed
Fools look on,
As Democracy
Is stabbed
In the back
By sanctuary cities,
And dangerous,
Treasonous talk,
Deep uncalled for
Violence erupts!
"God save America
Our home, sweet home"
Those who really
Love you
Feel so alone!

Wonderfully written by a great woman and Poetess who live up to the tenets of democracy, freedom and love for country.

Another powerful poem. Very incisive and deep penetrating lines that people must ponder about. It serves as a wake up call that we have to safeguard the principles of democracy by choosing leaders who can lead the country to uphold the basic tenets of democracy. We, the people can do our part by exercising our rights of suffrage wisely and morally.
