You want to fight the war
You want to bring the win home
But war don't have
No winning hand

No matter what side you
Are playing on
You ain't coming home
With no win
War don't have no victory
When it end
Because war don't have
No winning hand


Don't put your money on the table
If you don't want to except the fact
That when you go to war
Somebody ain't
Coming back
When you go to war
Somebody gets wounded
And somebody has got to die
Bombs fall
And bullets fly
War is a game with no winners
So just remember
When you draw up your battle plan
War don't have no winning hand
