We are all equal.
Universal self-evident truth,
validated without resources.
This inalienable right is not a commodity
to be impinged and metered out,
Nor crimped and encroached
subject to market forces as supply and demand,
Nor to be given and revoked at a corporate's whim
or the whim of government corrupted by corporations,
fools of tools.
Equality is intrinsic
and it's mantle inherent
in the dignity of each human
and is not to be extirpated
by anthropomorphic corporations
to dehumanise the individual to base status
for profit and aspirations of deity,
sacrosanct and beyond reproach
to demean and vanquish the individual
as their cringing, beaten and dependent possession.
Equality is a driving force
indefatigable,
that changes civilisations
and by overwhelming desire
crushes tyranny
and in its wake,
rebuilds anew.
I enjoyed this. Delivers a clear and universal point without a hiccup or misstep. Thanks for the post
1] Equality is intrinsic / and it's mantle inherent in the dignity of each human 2] Equality is a driving force / indefatigable, that changes civilisations 3] We are all equal. / Universal self-evident truth, validated without resources. Salute the poet for defining equality by the social sense of apolotical humanist outlook......Regards, Pranab k c 10+

Jefferson once told his slaves that all men are created equally. Sadly, that is when it ends. A biting, evocative write telling the way it should be.A worthy rendition
