We Are Constantly Searching
We are constantly searching
for our individuality,
running away from the world we know
and are searching for acceptance
in a hostile and demanding place
and in all of this we are alone
while we go deeper
into the unknown
and still we have a happy home,
a place where parents, family
and sometimes friends belong,
a place that with a special someone
we can make our own.
