We Met In Autumn Poem by Brenda Cure

We Met In Autumn

Autumn, we met
In a place around maple trees.
You squinted your eyes for dazzling light,
I took a long deep breath;
You didn't say any words,
I only said "Hi".
From the very first gaze
I knew,
You rooted on me
I rooted on you
The whole world,
Suddenly,
Only us

Let the wind blow,
Let the rain pour,
Let the volcano erupt,
With you in my arms,
Everything is beautiful on earth.
