We Will Never Know Poem by Sandra Feldman

We Will Never Know

Rating: 5.0

Where is the lie?
Where is the truth?
With all our technical advances
We still remain
In the same biased,
Deaf and mute,
One sided
Uncommunicative,
Telephone booth.

Politicians of all times,
Kings and Communists, alike
That take your time and dimes
Have never been held accountable
For their perfidy and crimes,
As innocents, are made
To pay with their work and their lives,
For all the lies
On which all governments
Strive and survive.
