What A Mirror Says (1 Of 3) Poem by Jordan WCJ

What A Mirror Says (1 Of 3)

Rating: 5.0

When I reached the pearly gates
I had tears on my face
Distort and hurt I needed a true fate
I yelled out to him, why so late?
Why couldn't I have gone sooner
You saw my rate?
Why tease me with the joy
The things that made me feel as a boy!
I was so close to finding a mate!
Why must there be a word such as fate?
Why?
Why?
Why?
I walk here and just see gates,
With chains and locks all over its face!
Why do you tease me with the temptations
My world is nothing and you still seem to hate
Still no words you say I say
You don’t believe this is my wrong fate?
I was getting better I need another way!
Please! just give me one more day
I swear I’ll do better no more bs okay?
So just let me go and give me this one more time
I swear I’ll tell my baby I love her right
She’ll never have to worry about my dieing times
Please!
Please!
Please!
Why most your silence echo so deeply?
I feel her pain within, I just need her really!
C’mon you really wouldn’t do this to me
I went to the house last Sunday and everything you see?
No!
No!
No!
Never! I cant let you entangle me,
Its time to be the real me!
You’re a coward and nothing, and you’ll never be!
I’ll break threw the gates one day you’ll see!
And when you die I’ll rejoice and be free
Because I know my addiction will be floating deep away in the sea.
