What If Poem by Monica Money

What If

What if my car broke down?

What if there's no sun?

What if tomorrow I drown?

What if I just can't have fun?

What if I look bad?

What if I become a nomad?

What if they hate me?

What if I get caught?

What if I can't be free?

What if it's to get too cold or too hot?

What if I don't achieve my dreams?

What if the sun doesn't beam?

What if? What if? What if?

There is so many more.

But I don't want to be a bore.

My question to you is

What if everything goes alright?

You see,

We can't live our lives on what if.

For the future may lay

Right there upon us.

If we live on the what if's

Opportunities will be taken away.

That is when regret comes into play.

So here is the truth,

As I may say.

What is your decision?

Because it's yours to make.

Either live in what if's or don't.

But if you do

Just know

Opportunities comes and goes.

Don't miss out on it

Because of a what if.

I promise you.

You will not regret it.
