Poet's Notes about The Poem
This poem just came to me as I was thinking about the social issues we face in the world today like poverty, racial discrimination, and child abuse. They are serious issues and I know that we can still resolve them. Let's start by laying the good foundations of peace together, and let's continue our journey even beyond the day we finally accomplish our goal. Because peace must be there even in the future generations.
