What Is Love?

i always ask my soul
but it goes silent
each and every moment
i ask my searching soul

is love a dream?
or is it a passing shadow?
is it like the melting snow?
or is love just a dream?

the tender words whisered?
the kisses and flowers?
in those silent hours;
the tender words whispered?

i ask my heart
i hear him say to me
love is just to know and be
just follow me your heart

before i answer one question
i'm hit with yet another
sometimes i feel not to bother
to ask the greatest question.

(To everyone asking this question)

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
