What Poets Do For You Poem by Sandra Feldman

What Poets Do For You

Rating: 5.0

Poets cry and love too much,
Create new Worlds for you to watch,
Dream of things that cannot be,
Thinking thoughts of Fantasy.

Poets drink a Sacred Wine,
Open doors to the divine,
Poets suffer and as such,
Have of Love, the magic touche.

So true Sandra, and poetry is undervalued by the general populace I believe.

Beautiful poem Sandra. Perfect look at real poets. Very sensitively written, it got to me. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for the wonderful comments, you always get right to the gist of a poem. You have great insight. Sometimes I think how did she do that? How'd she figure out what I was really saying in a poem. Always straight forward and honest comments. Thank you, RoseAnn
