What We Believe Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

What We Believe

Rating: 5.0

Faith is what we believe
Death is constant fear we live
Water is deep still we dive
Reluctance still we give

Why faith is to make hope
When we are not willing to walk on rope?
Why we leave everything to faith and become illogical?
Not admit the fault and try to be honest and vocal

If I have to live by faith
I shall surrender to reality of death
Know it for certain what I am today
And what will be tomorrow on the way

I love to live among nice and kind hearted
I want to pick from where I had started
Lost in between and got derailed
Now I want to reaffirm and get it availed

I know many hurdles on the way
Yet I must say and firmly stay
That I love my fellow brethren
I promise to live with no concerns

I may not find heaven
I should remain unconcerned even
Let my present not turn into hell
I wish it to speak well

I know what the love can make it to be
Let all people sense within and feel free
The total universality of belonging and oneness
See then the power and impact of happiness on face
