When Choosen

When I first met both were equal Z and S
In style, strength, courage, richness
Equally handsome with magnificient look and attractive smile
En felt pride in my presence when I walk few lonely miles
Both surprised me with their unique love
And their honorable family was ready for their next move
Judgement passed to my own hand
whether dad’s selection Mr Z from a foreign land
or mom’s opinion Mr S from a village in god’s own country
confused was I in measuring their love’s boundry
remember still I
when saw them on a testing eye
how smart the guys handled the situation
and, how wise they impressed me in their decision
their love mountain grew day by day
my misty sorrow clouds covered them as I couldn’t love neither in gay
their eagarness for my answer was ranging high
and iwas unable to make a choice and asked myself why?

On my bday when both shaked hands
With equal rivalry in their eyes ……and
Wherever I went Mr Z was sure to take me to other spot
And Never let me alone especially to Mr S’s plot
But Mr S left me all alone but his eyes spoke
“I believe in you, who you are”.and yes then I woke
Now years later today
When we all met again after few day
iam living in a castle of love
free, happy and still who am I then and even now
Mr Z with some guilt in his eyes en pride in his words
Said lady holding my tux and my car key is my wife from abroad
Smiled I en thought I know I made a choice then
But now I wonder how wise I did it and when

poet James Whitcomb Riley

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
