When green turns to brown
You cry for water, the water of life
That makes you what you are
And what you would be
The air is thick with smoke and fog
You fly away higher and higher
Until you hit a grey nimbus
About to rain down
You are pushed down to earth
The wind is very cold like steel
It was hot and dusty a while ago
Moving up and sideways
The sun sees it all from the top
Feels everything with its rays;
The power that drives the world
That spurs all things live on earth
And we say we belong to this earth
But we all make it gasp for breath
Fair, let us be, to earth, water and air
Let the sun give us light forever.
