When I Was Just A Dream.. Poem by DEEP DARK SOUL POET

When I Was Just A Dream..

When I was just a dream
In splendid piercing sun rays
That had eaten up the shadow's ways
Folding back on the face of earth
That looked like a silver plate.

Reflecting so high, to the depth of sky
Infinity had given way to colour blue
The lazy clouds in a bright white hue
The buzz of life as it stirs within.

The first ray of day had touched it's power
To the hidden heart of the bud of flower
Petals reaching for the abyss of space.

Hazy dismay with naught eyes wide
The cave was a visit to the mystery astride
Spooky dark by the spiralling smoke.

Some saint with the might of love
Sick of the world in isolation
Seperated like fingers in a glove
Fancy was the divinity of love.

When the dead lived up on the hill
Recreate life resuscitated and resurrected
Drink from your lips the elixir of good
Grow like the roots in the wood.

Be the life that was taken away
Robbed blindly by accidental fate that day
Shine back the glory of the sun
As it circles waiting to die itself as one
To the cosmic dust from whence it came

When all life regrets regressing back,

When I was just a dream….
