When It Began Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

When It Began

It had begun,
When it began...
To make me pay attention.
To make me sit and listen.
Quietly...
And allow me to go within.
Without apprehension.
Until those 'thoughts' started to clear.

It had begun,
When it began...
To make me pay attention.
To make me sit and listen.

It had begun,
When it began...
And I was here.
It had begun,
When it began...
To click together and remove fear,
I had endeared.
