When My Heart Opens Up And My Soul Dances. Poem by M. Asim Nehal

When My Heart Opens Up And My Soul Dances.

Rating: 5.0

My heart opens up and my soul dances,
This doesn't happen so often,
It happens only when my body seeks rejoice,
When the first drop of rain falls on my body,
When the first sunray touches my skin,
When the breeze enters with fragrance,
When thoughts cross my mind,
When eye meets an eye and sees the twinkle,
And when the moon appears in full.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

I won't say you are a lune-atic or lunatic, but I call this moonatic, only when it is full moon, and When My Heart Opens Up And My Soul Dances, but the full moon that does that. That is not often, only once in the 28 days, Asim Sir!
